RiskCheck Asbestos - The presence of asbestos in buildings presents a potential risk to the health of its occupants, the general public, contractors and service personal.
Legislation makes it compulsory to have an
Asbestos Management Plan in place for friable asbestos. It is therefore essential to know where the asbestos is within buildings and what its condition is. It is also necessary to maintain written records and document actions, and to have a management system and procedures in place to ensure that no one is exposed to asbestos fibres.
RiskCheck Asbestos provides employers with an effective solution to asbestos risk management. RiskCheck
Asbestos is an interactive system that is
designed to manage the status and condition of
the asbestos throughout the building by having
an online register and questions which makes the
building personnel regularly aware of the areas
that need to be addressed. Regular annual visits
will ensure that the condition of the asbestos
is kept current so the proper course of action can be taken. Similar to the RiskCheck Environmental and RiskCheck Health & Safety, it has the further benefit of an integrated computerized system accessed via the Internet.
